| 1 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven-- | 1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: | 1 For everything there is a season, and a time for very purpose under heaven: | 1 All things have their season, and in their times all things pass under heaven. | 1 To everything -- a season, and a time to every delight under the heavens: | 2 A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. | 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; | 2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; | 2 A time to be born and a time to die. | 11 He has made everything appropriate in its time. For who will bring him to see what will occur after him? | 22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him? | 22 Wherefore I saw that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him back to see what shall be after him? | 22 And I have found that nothing is better than for a man to rejoice in his work, and that this is his portion.
